Richard Chirs Kerrison (better known as Chris Kerrison) was a British Saloon Car Championship driver and class winner, having won the Class C championship in 1961. Kerrison only race in the BSCC for one season, using a Jaguar Mk II.
Kerrison's racing background was largely based in Sports Cars, having raced in various championships from 1959. Kerrison raced in the 1959 British Grand Prix, although retired his privately entered Lotus Climax, with other highlights including numerous Formula Two races.
Kerrison's first race came at the St. Mary's Trophy meeting at Goodwood in 1961, where a late failure meant he could not start. Kerrison then competed in Class D, although with his smaller engine than the leading cars, Kerrison was not classified. Kerrison missed the following race, his car was then classified in Class C, where he was able to take two wins, giving him sixteen points and the Class C title.
